    In Kerala's Wayanad district, En Uru'( My village), a tribal heritage village, displays the rich culture of the tribal communities.The state government created 'En Uru' with the idea of conserving the history and culture of the tribal people who live in Kerala and enhancing traditional knowledge. 'En Uru' tribal Heritage village is a  unique, stable and creative venture.In order to promote the total life development of the tribal people, En Uru Heritage Village will serve as an example of the diversity of tribal customs in Kerala. The idea is to give the tribal people a chance to raise their regular income and improve their quality of life through this. The tribal heritage village is situated on 25 acres.

    The mud houses, which were once the hallmark of the tribal people, will attract the attention of the tourists.The mud huts with their distinct cultural diversity are more interesting to today's youth. Each grass hut's base features a rest area as well.

    Tribal cuisine's unique ethnic flavors are another attraction for travelers. Here, tribal restaurants have been put up with a focus on various tribal cuisines.In En Uru, you may get handicrafts created by several tribal groups, forest items, native agricultural products with a special flavour, herbs, bamboo and cane products, traditional medicinal plants, and much more.Tribal arts are also presented in an outdoor theatre, a facilitation centre, and a warehouse. In addition to visitors from various regions of Kerala, visitors from other states and overseas nations also visit.

    En Uru can be accessible from the entrance of Pookode Veterinary University to the left through MRS School. Tourists can reach Pookode Navodaya Vidyalaya premises in their own vehicles. From here to En Uru, a special vehicle has been arranged.
